Gedaref digital city organization (GDCO) is NGOs (Gedaref Sudan). GDCO is the founder of the first national Telecentre academy in Africa and the 13th in the world (Sudan national Telecentre academy SuNTA). Digital city of Eindhoven (DSE) donated 750 computers to GDCO and more than ten community development projects were established using ICT. GDCO is the winner of information for development award i4d e-India 2007 ,,, also the winner of i4d 2008 awards for the best innovations at the grassroots Telecentre ,,,, The winner of i4d 2009 awards  for  civil societies initiatives for development,,,, GDCO has 4 internet websites in Arabic,,, Dutch, English and the fourth is in UN-ESCWA,,, also it Has more than150 links and blogs and 500 pictures

Meddie has considerable experience and dynamic participant in the management and direct of 5th EATLF dialogue to success of conference. His presence within the conference added a lot of efficiency to ensure the success of the meeting.

Disabled individuals are still excluded from many areas of life specially the information technology (IT). Include the excluded project is the biggest humanitarian project in GDCO. Inclusion of the people with special needs (disabled) is a very big issue and it is very difficult for one part to tackle so strong partnership (PPP) is needed.

    The concept of NGOs as a receptive organization for donation is completely changed and they become partners in development and the big PPP (public, private partnership) become true,,, The main feature of these partnerships is sharing knowledge, experiences and best practices, which help in saving money and time,,, The digital city of Eindhoven donated 750 computers to GDCO in last year’s and more than ten projects in cooperation with the Government Gedaref and civil society organizations working in the field of technology were established

 GDCO hosted the 5th  east African Telecentre leaders forum (5th EATLF 8th  – 11th June 2008),, GDCO paid all the local costs (hotels,,, food,,, local transport,, laundry,,, mobile Sim cards,,, the main issue was the Telecentre Academy. 27 participants from 17 countries attended the forum.  On the 11th June Sudan national Telecentre academy (SuNTA) was declared as the first national Telecentre academy in Africa and the middle east and it is the 13th in the world.  In august 2008 and at the Telecentre forum in e-India 2008 the vice chancellor of Indaira Gandhi national Open University (IGNOU), telecentre.org, Gedaref state minister of education, CSDMS and GDCO chairman launched the website of SuNTA. GDCO attend the meeting in Barcelona Spain. On October 27th Gedaref state minister of education in the presence of Gedaref governor declared the opening of SuNTA.
